Start your day with snorkeling & sailing in Costa Rica!

Begin your day aboard Kuna Vela! Come sail the Gulf of Papagayo and enjoy the warm Costa Rican water and maritime life as you snorkel through interesting coves alongside our expert snorkel guide, visit secluded beaches and relax aboard our 47 ft monohull.

We alternate between many popular coves and beaches to provide our guests with the best sailing and snorkeling in Playas del Coco depending on the wind and weather.

After snorkeling and beach time, you’ll enjoy delicious snacks and finger foods, prepared daily on the boat, as we sail back to Playas del Coco.

Depending on the time of year, it’s likely you’ll see sea turtles, dolphins, rays, and even whales! This is one of the things that makes sailing in Costa Rica an unforgettable adventure.

Our tours depart and return to Playas del Coco, Guanacaste. Kuna Vela is family-friendly; we welcome guests of all ages on board!

• We will see you at 8:15 a.m. at our meeting location at the beachfront entrance to Claudio & Gloria’s Restaurant, Playas del Coco. Look for the Kuna Vela shirt with the bright yellow smiley face.
• All of our main food offerings are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan/vegetarian friendly. Please let us know in advance of any food or beverage allergies, sensitivities or vegetarian/vegan preferences so we may accommodate all guests.
