CJ Golinar – Owner/Operator
CJ was a landlubbing project manager in the software industry for 23 years. He moved to Mexico in 2004, fell in love with Latin America and has not left since. Prior to coming to Costa Rica he lived in Brazil where he fell in love with sailing.
Israel Chacon, born in Costa Rica, counts over 15 years of experience navigating. He acquired a broad knowledge of sailing around the Shelter Islands, San Diego, California, United States. He studied in the INA (National Institute of Learning, Costa Rica) nautical theory. He is fully fledged: Coastal navigation, survival in the sea and RCP (resuscitation cardio-pulmonary) and first aid.
He is certified guide by the ICT (Costa Rican Institute of Tourism): sport fishing and diving. He’ll be pleased to direct you toward places and activities of particular interest thanks to his experience in marine biology.
Good sailor or not, you’re welcome to be at the helm. There is always excellent music in the cockpit with romantic or dancing mood; snorkeling gear is provided. Semi rigid dinghy 12 ft, outboard motor 15 hp. English, Spanish and French spoken on board.
Spacious deck layout: flush deck allowing an easy movement when maneuvering without disturbing our passengers basking in the sun. Vast teak cockpit, designed for tropical latitudes with u shaped bench and cushions. Cockpit table, Bimini top providing shade to protect from the sun. Superb swimming platform (more than one meter large) allowing direct access to the sea with deck fresh water shower. (Water maker: 140 l/h). 2 guests’ restrooms and stateroom.
